MASTERING NOW COMPLETED!
Great mastering session at Metropolis Studios, London last week with Andy (Hippy) Baldwin. The tracks are now sounding immense.
70’s Riff Master – Tony Bourge (ex Budgie) records with Nerve Star on an updated track of his for our new album!
1970’s Riff Master: Tony Bourge-ex Budgie and responsible for the crushing riffs on tracks such as Breadfan, In For The Kill & Crash Course In Brain Surgery (later recorded by Metallica and others) has recorded Lead Guitar on a new version of one of his old tracks.
Tony recorded his guitar parts in November last year and the track will feature on our upcoming album, later this year and it sounds Killer!
Tony is also shortly down to record more lead guitar with Nerve Star on a 1972 classic Budgie track which will feature on our third single, which follows the album. More news on that later!
Supreme Bad-Ass Nerve Star Riff: Master Rock Machine Janne!
I took a deep dive at the Nerve Star tracks/disc and I‘m blown away by the ultra-deep Underground Heavy Rock dive excellence!
You and this UK group of serious dedicated hard rockers have nailed down an amazing set of killer obscure heavy riffage complete with a damn good dose of bad-ass rippin’ dual lead guitar action!
The vocalist – Sir Lord Matt Oakman is the real deal and lands a perfect fit for the music.
Mr. Billinghurst is right up there with you and your killer brand of heavy riffage and kick-ass lead guitar mojo! Fucking Bravo & Standing Ovation to you and Nerve Star for truly KEEPING THE ROCK ALIVE!!!
I really dig the ultra-obscurity level of excellent heavy riffage and how you tip your musical hats with love and passion for the magnificent NWOBHM movement. You took things to an even more obscure heavy rock level than the mighty Mountain Of Power!
Of special note: Rasmus “Heavy Metal Ears” Andersen has done an excellent rock solid job with the mixes. It’s all about Keepin’ It Real in the heavy rock musical world of Rasmus!!!
To be honest, I was only familiar with the Tredegar, Sir Lord Baltimore & the beloved Itchy Brother tracks. It’s a heavy rock n’ roll miracle that you covered one of the mega-awesome ultra-rare Itchy Brother tracks and updated it with muscular hard rock power! The remaining tracks were all new to my ears and they all deliver the heavy rock goods! I wasn’t even familiar with this kool local Rochester heavy rock band Kilovar from my Grooveyard Hometown?
Awesome track! I tracked down the original version and your updated Nerve Star version blows it away! Brother…If i was still releasing discs, I’d be ALL OVER this band/disc with your involvement. It’s fucking tremendous in it’s obscure heavy rock excellence. I may have to come out of retirement and release 10 x Nerve Star albums!!! You must do more discs with this band/concept!
